My Story
My Scentsy story began in April 2011, I had recieved my first scentsy warmer (twinkle, twinkle) and Ollie the Elephant buddy at my baby shower. I set up the warmer in my son's room and loved how great newborn nursery smelled but didn't think much more about it. Time had passed as being a new mom had consumed my everyday and I loved every minute of my new life.
Beside being a new mom I am also a first grade teacher and feel truly blessed to have a career I love. In October 2012 I had a Scentsy book party because I wanted to get some more warmers and scents. My friends, family and coworkers LOVED it and my party was a huge success... I earned a ton of FREE products. I instantly NEEDED more and loved everything about Scentsy. I thought about becoming a consultant but was to scared, plus I worked full time and was involved in more than my share of school organizations and programs. My sister in law loved Scentsy too and I always loved going to her house to smell her scents and see her new warmers. We talked about how much fun it would be to sell Scentsy and it could be something we could do together...so we signed up to become consultants.
Scentsy has changed my life in so many ways. It has given me financial freedom to buy those extras that I wouldn't be able to otherwise. I have made it my goal to pay for our family vacations every year with what I make from commissions. We have been able to travel to Florida, on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas, on a 10 day inclusive Disney Vacation, Massachusetts and last summer I attended the Scentsy Family Reunion in Las Vegas and paid for my family vacation to Disney World and the Gulf coast of Florida.
Spending that $99 and investing in myself was the best decision I have made. I absolutely love sharing my LOVE of Scentsy with others and love the personal growth I see in myself. I love having a team and sharing my journey with others.
